CHOCOLATE GALAXY CANDY CAKE

1. **Make the cake:**

* Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans.
* In a bowl, whisk dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt).
* In another bowl, beat sugars, oil, and eggs until fluffy. Add vanilla.
* Mix in milk, then alternate dry ingredients and hot coffee until smooth.
* Divide batter into pans, bake 30–35 mins. Cool completely.

2. **Make chocolate buttercream:**

* Beat butter until creamy.
* Gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa.
* Mix in cream and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.

3. **Assemble the cake:**

* Layer cakes with buttercream in between.
* Frost outside with a smooth coat of chocolate buttercream.
* Press wafer rolls or KitKats vertically around the cake to form a border.

4. **Decorate galaxy-style:**

* Pile assorted chocolates and truffles on top.
* Add some broken pieces for texture.
* Drizzle with caramel sauce for that glossy galaxy effect.
* Sprinkle crushed nuts or edible glitter if desired
