Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:
• 120 g grated cheese – Emmental cheese is particularly suitable for the filling, as its mild, slightly nutty flavor pairs perfectly with the mushrooms.
• Salt and pepper – For seasoning the filling and the mushrooms.
• 7 to 10 large, fresh mushrooms – The base of the dish. Large mushrooms are ideal as they offer enough space for the filling.
• 1 cup sour cream (approx. 200 g) – Sour cream provides a creamy consistency and a slightly tart flavor.
• 120 g diced ham or bacon (optional) – This ingredient adds a savory and aromatic touch to the filling. For vegetarian options, the ham can be omitted.
• ½ bunch of chives – Freshly chopped, chives add a delicate, green freshness to the dish.
• 1 onion – For added flavor and a slight sweetness.
• A little butter or oil – For sautéing the onion and greasing the mushrooms.
