Apple Fritter Waffle Donuts

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

2. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter until well blended.

3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.

4. Gently fold in the diced apples until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

5. Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

6. Once hot, pour the batter into the waffle maker, using enough to fill it but not overflow.

7. Close the waffle maker and cook until the waffles are golden brown and slightly crisp.

8. While the waffles are cooking, heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat for frying.

9. After cooking, carefully remove the waffles and allow them to cool for a minute before cutting them into donut shapes.

10. Fry the donut-shaped pieces in the hot oil for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

11. Remove the fried donuts from the oil and drain on paper towels.

12. Dust the finished donuts with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy your delicious creations!
