Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s adequately heated before baking.
- Prepare the Potatoes:
- Wash the 4 large russet potatoes thoroughly.
- Cut the potatoes into evenly sized fries.
- Coat with Duck Fat and Season:
- In a bowl, toss the cut potatoes with 3 tablespoons of melted duck fat.
- Add 1 tablespoon of Lawry’s seasoned salt to the bowl.
- Toss the fries until they are well-coated with both the duck fat and seasoned salt.
- Bake Initial 20 Minutes:
- Spread the coated fries evenly on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Increase Oven Heat:
- After the initial 20 minutes, increase the oven temperature to 450°F (232°C).
- Bake Until Golden Brown:
- Continue baking the fries at the higher temperature until they achieve a golden brown or crispy texture. This typically takes about 30 minutes.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Once the fries are cooked to perfection, remove them from the oven.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious homemade oven fries!
