Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
- 1 cup water
- ½ teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for extra omega-3 and hydration)
Method
Add fennel seeds and grated ginger (if using) to a small saucepan with 1 cup water.
Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 8–10 minutes. The water will turn pale golden and aromatic. Strain the liquid into a glass, discarding the solids.
Stir in fresh lemon juice and honey while the drink is warm.
If desired, add chia seeds and let sit for 10 minutes to soak (for extra skin-plumping hydration).
Enjoy warm in the morning, or chill and drink as a refreshing skin tonic.
