Grandma’s fake bunny, finger-lickin’ good!

This traditional dish, also known as “False Hare,” is a true classic from Grandma’s kitchen. It consists of juicy ground beef filled with ham, cheese, and a hard-boiled egg, which not only gives the dish a unique flavor but also a great look. Perfect for a hearty Sunday lunch!
Ingredients:
For the meatloaf:
• 1.1 kg ground beef
• 130 g grated dry toast
• 2 grated onions
• 20 g finely chopped parsley
• 1 egg
• Salt and pepper to taste

Also:
• 6-8 slices of cooked ham
• 8 slices of cheese (e.g., Gouda or Emmental)
• 10 eggs (hard-boiled and peeled)
• 1 bowl of finely chopped root vegetables (carrots, celery, leeks, red onions, garlic, and rosemary)
• Vegetable oil for frying
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 1.5 l beef broth
• 100 g breadcrumbs
• 120 g melted butter
• 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley for garnish
