🍞 Dough (for 1 thick 12-inch pizza):
3 ¾ cups (470g) all-purpose flour or bread flour

1 ½ tsp salt

1 tbsp sugar

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast

1 ⅓ cups (320ml) warm water (~110°F / 43°C)

2 tbsp olive oil (plus more for greasing)

🍅 Tomato Sauce:
1 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (14 oz / 400g) crushed tomatoes

1 tsp sugar (optional, to balance acidity)

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt & pepper to taste

2 cups (200g) shredded mozzarella (or fresh sliced)
