Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix well until smooth.
Add hot water:
Gradually stir in the hot water or coffee. The mixture will be runny, which is normal!
Bake:
Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool:
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
Ganache (topping):
Heat the cream without boiling.
Pour over the chopped chocolate.
Wait 2 minutes and stir gently until melted.
Add butter if you want more shine.
Let it cool slightly and cover the cake.
