Puff pastry rolls with minced meat: you absolutely have to try this recipe

Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought or homemade), thawed

250g (about 9 oz) minced meat (beef, lamb, pork, or a mix)

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tbsp tomato paste (optional, for richness)

1 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Sesame seeds or nigella seeds (optional topping)

Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).

Prepare the Filling:
In a pan over medium heat, sauté chopped onion until soft (2–3 minutes). Add garlic and minced meat. Cook until browned and cooked through.
Stir in tomato paste, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook another 2–3 minutes.
Let the filling cool slightly. Stir in parsley if using.

Prepare the Puff Pastry:
Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. If it’s already pre-rolled, just unroll it.
