Prepare dough:
If using canned biscuits: flatten each biscuit slightly and press it into the muffin cup, forming a mini crust with sides going up the tin.
If using pizza dough: divide into 12 pieces, roll into balls, and press each into the muffin tin cups to form little deep-dish crusts.
Add sauce: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each dough cup.
Add toppings: Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and desired toppings (pepperoni, veggies, etc.).
Season: Lightly brush exposed dough edges with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 15β18 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
Cool and serve: Let rest for 5 minutes, then gently lift from the muffin tin using a knife or spoon. Serve warm!
