Recipe for onion cheddar chips

In a bowl, combine both with onion powder, garlic powder (optional), and pepper.

Form the chips:

Use a teaspoon to place small mounds of the cheese mixture onto the baking sheet.

Flatten slightly, leaving space between each chip (the cheese will melt during baking).

Optional: Sprinkle some chopped herbs on top.

Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 8–12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and crispy.

Caution: Cheese burns easily – keep an eye on it from minute 8 onwards.

Cool:

Remove from the oven and carefully slide the chips, including the parchment paper, onto a cooling rack.

After about 5 minutes, they will be nice and crispy.

📝Tips:
For a spicier flavor: Add some smoked paprika or cayenne pepper.

For a low-carb version: These chips are keto-friendly!

You can also use other cheeses (e.g., Parmesan or Gouda), but Cheddar pairs best with onions.
