Here’s how:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook for 6 to 7 minutes, until al dente (firm to the bite). Peel and finely slice the onions. Peel and finely slice the garlic. Cut the ham into strips.
2. Carefully clean the mushrooms and cut them into pieces. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Brown the ham strips. Add the onions and garlic and sweat them in the oil until softened.
Add the mushrooms and sauté briefly.
3. Deglaze with the cream and bring to a boil. Dissolve the cheese in the boiling cream. If the sauce is still very thick, thin it with a little of the spaghetti cooking water. Delicious!
4. In the evening, add the peas and simmer for about 7 minutes. Finally, season the sauce with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Drain the cooked spaghetti, mix it immediately with the sauce, and serve.
