Ingredients (for about 12 spirals):

1 rectangular sheet of puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)

150g smoked salmon

100g cream cheese (e.g., Philadelphia or Boursin)

1 tbsp crème fraîche (optional)

1 tbsp chopped chives

1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or flat-leaf parsley

Freshly ground pepper

1 egg yolk (for the egg wash)

Poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional)
