Preparation:
1️⃣ Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear in a pan with oil on both sides until golden brown.
2️⃣ Remove the meat. Sauté the onions and garlic in the same pan.
3️⃣ Cut the bell peppers into strips and the mushrooms into slices, add them to the pan, and sauté briefly.
4️⃣ Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and seasonings and stir to combine.
5️⃣ Add the meat back in, cover, and simmer over medium heat for about 45 minutes, until tender.
6️⃣ Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and enjoy with potatoes, rice, or grits.
