Preparation:
First, mix the flour with the baking powder, sift it, and add the margarine, egg yolks, and powdered sugar. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
Then divide the dough in half. Roll out one half on a floured surface to fit the baking tray (30×40 cm), forming a rim as well.
Spread the apple filling on top and cover with the remaining dough. Drizzle with milk, prick with a fork, and place in the oven. Bake for about 30 minutes, or as needed, at 180 °C (356 °F).
For the filling, coarsely grate the apples, let them rest briefly, remove the juice, and season with sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon.
After baking, dust with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Let cool, cut into pieces, and serve.
