Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Carrots
Peel and slice carrots into ¼-inch rounds. Boil for 5–7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Glaze
In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in brown sugar until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Add optional cinnamon, nutmeg, or orange juice if desired.
Step 3: Glaze the Carrots
Add the cooked carrots to the skillet and toss to coat. Cook 2–3 minutes until the glaze thickens and caramelizes slightly.
