Introduction:
Fish fillets with lemon butter are a light, sophisticated, and easy-to-prepare dish. The combination of the sweetness of the fish and the freshness of the lemon creates a true explosion of flavor. Perfect for a quick and delicious dinner—ideal for those who want to enjoy an elegant meal without spending hours in the kitchen.
Ingredients:
4 white fish fillets (e.g., tilapia, pollock, or sole)
50g butter
1 lemon (zest and juice)
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Preparation:
First, heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat with the olive oil (if using).
Season the fish fillets on both sides with salt and pepper. Once the pan is hot, add the fish fillets and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Carefully remove the fillets from the pan and place them on a plate. In the same pan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the chopped garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the lemon zest and juice to the pan and mix well until smooth.
