
Don’t Toss Those Lemon Peels… Make Lemon Powder Instead
- Allow dried peels to cool completely
- Break larger pieces into smaller chunks
- Fill your grinding device no more than halfway
- Pulse in short bursts to prevent overheating
- Continue until you achieve a fine powder consistency
Pro Tip: If using a blender or food processor, pause occasionally and shake the container to ensure even grinding.
Step 6: Sifting & Refining

- Place your fine-mesh strainer over a clean bowl
- Pour the ground powder into the strainer
- Gently tap or shake the strainer to help the powder pass through
- Collect any larger pieces that don’t pass through
- Regrind these pieces and sift them again
- Repeat until all powder is uniformly fine
