4. Oreo / Chocolate Cookie Crust

Ingredients (for 9-inch pie)
24 Oreo cookies (or any chocolate sandwich cookies), crushed
6 tbsp (85 g) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if baking. For no-bake pies, oven is not needed.
2️⃣ Crush cookies
Place cookies (with filling) in a food processor or zip-lock bag. Pulse or crush into fine crumbs.
3️⃣ Mix crust
Combine crushed cookies with melted butter until evenly moistened.
4️⃣ Press into pan
Press mixture firmly into bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Use the bottom of a flat cup for compact, even crust.
5️⃣ Bake (optional)
Baked crust: 8–10 minutes, then cool completely before filling. No-bake crust: Chill in fridge 1–2 hours before adding filling.

Tips for Oreo Crust
For extra chocolate flavor, add 1–2 tbsp cocoa powder to the crumbs.
Press firmly to prevent crumbling when slicing.
Perfect for: chocolate cream pie, peanut butter pie, mint chocolate pie, cheesecake, or mousse pies.
