Recipe for stuffed peppers, just like Grandma used to make!

Ingredients (serves 4):
For the peppers:

4 large bell peppers (red or mixed)

500g mixed ground meat (half beef, half pork)

1 small onion, finely diced

1 garlic clove, finely chopped

1 egg

2-3 tablespoons breadcrumbs or soaked bread roll

1 teaspoon mustard

Salt, pepper, sweet paprika

Optional: some parsley or marjoram

For the sauce:

1 onion, diced

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 can diced tomatoes (400g)

approx. 300ml vegetable or meat broth

1 teaspoon sugar

Salt, pepper
